Odemis in Turkey's Aegean region is a town in the west of Izmir. Ödemiş is the largest district of İzmir with a population of 71 thousand people. Distance to İzmir is 113 km. The height of the sea is 123 meters and the highest point is Bozdağ are 2157 meters. The land area is 107,900 hectares. The small Menderes river flows from the middle of the land which is mostly oval.
The region is under the influence of the Mediterranean climate.One product can be removed three times a year. There is no taste in the whole Aegean region. Leather Tulum Cheese is only made in Ödemiş in the Aegean region.
